The Aidmatrix Network Overview

A Superhighway for Disaster Relief
Connecting Donors, Governments and Nonprofits

The Aidmatrix Network® is a national disaster relief coordination system funded by FEMA, The UPS Foundation, Accenture, and the Aidmatrix Foundation, Inc. to better manage unsolicited donations and volunteers. It connects State and local governments with donors, State Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD), National VOAD, and FEMA through web-based tools to reduce paperwork and allow for easy information sharing. No software, hardware or additional IT staff is required with this hosted solution, and training is minimal.

The Aidmatrix Network Disaster Kit includes the following modules: In-Kind Donations Management, Volunteer Management, Warehouse Management, Financial Donation Referrals.

Empowering Disaster Relief

This is more than just a computer system; it’s a national partnership. Here's how it works:

The Aidmatrix Network leverages best practices already in use today to move more than $1.5 billion of aid annually to more than 35,000 voluntary organizations. The result of combining these best practices is a flexible, easy-to-use, real-time network of technology, partnership and community. The Aidmatrix Network is simple enough to use everyday and scalable enough to use during a disaster. It provides a common system that can be readily understood and implemented, allowing more people to be helped with quality aid.
